The 2019 Bethany College Graduate Survey Results are in!
Survey Responses. Of the 2019 graduates, we have a knowledge rate of what 83% of our graduates are doing!
This exceptional rate is further broken down to reveal that 96% of the 2019 BC graduate respondents are employed or are pursuing continuing education.
Continuing Education. The majority (71%) of the students responding that are continuing their education within the following graduate programs:
-50% Pre-Professional (specifically, this year were students in the Pre-Vet, Pre-Med, Pre-Law, Pre-Ministry, and Pre-Engineering),
-10% Social Sciences, and
-30% Business and Communications departments.
Employed. Of the students gainfully employed, 62% of those students graduated within the STEM, Social Sciences, Communications, and Business departments.
Within each department, the percentage of students participating in the survey that went into the WORKFORCE were:

Of the 2016 graduates, 80% responded to the Exit Survey and/or the 3-Month Survey. This exceptional response rate is further broken down to reveal that 77% of the 2016 BC graduate respondents have found full-time employment or are pursuing further education. The 4 things you should do within the first 4 years after graduation:
1. GAIN REAL JOB EXPERIENCE
Few graduates will land their dream job right out of college. So how do you break into the workforce? Hopefully, you have set yourself up nicely working quality internships on your summer and winter breaks. This will get you in most doors for an entry-level job. This opportunity will enable you to develop your skill set and within one year you will truly learn what areas of your profession you want to pursue.
2. IMPROVE YOURSELF
Most likely you have become use to the college life for the past four years; however, you now need to up your game in your personal life and develop life-long positive habits if you haven’t already. Focus on eating healthier, exercising, managing your finances and your own personal development.
3. BECOME INVOLVED
As the song says, “when one door closes another one opens.” Leaving your Bethany after graduation means the beginning of the rest of your life. Get out there and get involved with your community. Meet new people, discover new interests and hobbies, make connections, and network. Open those doors!
4. PLAN FOR THE NEXT FOUR
During these first four years, you will learn so much about the real world and your own fit in it. Prepare your career and personal life for the next steps to position yourself for positive moves. Don’t wait to plan; do it as you go.
